A small scheduled pipeline reads public market data once or more each day: the free exchangerate-api.com for USD/PKR, and public Karachi Sarafa Market and OGRA notifications for gold and fuel.
Each run writes the latest readings to a JSON file and deploys it to a public edge endpoint. The app never waits on a private server — it fetches tiny JSON files from a CDN.
The app pulls today’s JSON, stores it locally in Hive, and compares it to the last reading on this device. If a rate you opted into has moved, a local notification fires.
Every successful update is appended to a local history, so charts and the Price History screen get richer over time — no account, no login, no cloud per-user storage.
